I'm Back!

Hey Guys!
Since last post I've finished my pilgrimage and returned home. My trip was pretty spiritually uplifting as well as very successful in terms of hunting. I managed to bag several animals with great furs and the potential to be processed into excellent trophies. Among these animals was a magnificent deer with incredible antlers. It is currently at the taxidermist being made into  trophy which I look forward to hanging on my wall. I also managed to snag several otters with great furs which will also be processed into fine garments for me. As I am sure many of you know already, I have a strong affinity towards new and modern materialistic attire, so all my new game is a great way to satisfy this craving.

Reporting Live From...Somewhere Along the Pilgrimage!

Hi Guys,
I'm currently on my pilgrimage and blogging from my new iPhone. The trip is going very well so far and I've come across many interesting products that i don't find very often back where I live. As I mentioned last time, I planned on hunting game which I don't normally get at home. So far, I have hunted several interesting animals including my favorite, a fat swan which has the finest feathers I have ever seen, which I of course plan on using to make myself a magnificent overcoat.
Well that's enough talk about hunting, let me tell you about the actual pilgrimage! with me on the trip there are several strange, interesting, and entertaining characters. In order to keep ourselves busy we have devised a competition to see who can tell the best tale. So far, we have had good weather and we are making good timing. as aforementioned, I spend a lot of time hunting. Although it is a religious pilgrimage, I figured I may as well take advantage of my travels and the opportunities which present themselves to me as I visit new places.
catch you later,
the Monk

getting ready for the big day!

Hey guys,
As I mentioned in the last post, I'm going on a pilgrimage to Canterbury soon. Therefore, I have to prepare! So I'm bringing with me my crossbow, rifle, snares, one of my best greyhounds and other assorted hunting equipment. On this journey, I hope to encounter different opportunities in terms of game, possibly acquiring valuable and exotic furs and pelts. Additionally, I am bringing my fine riding attire, my Prada fur overcoat, my leather riding boots, as well as other fine garments. Obviously, I am also bringing with me my finest horse. On this trip, I'm hoping to have the opportunity to trade for and collect different materials, textiles, and paraphernalia which I don't normally come across.
I'm starting to get excited for this!

welcome to my blog

Hey guys,
I'd like to personally welcome you to my blog, and I hope you enjoy reading it. I'm just going to introduce myself and let you know a little bit about me. As I assume you've figured out from the name of the blog, I am a monk. However, I am a little different than most monks because I don't believe in St. Benedict's rule that monks must live their lives in seclusion and devoted to prayer and study. Rather, I believe that monks can participate recreational activities, as I do. For example, I am a fanatic hunter as well as breeder of greyhounds. I love hunting, and I would say that is what I spend most of my time doing.
In the near future I am going on a pilgrimage to Canterbury and will be blogging throughout the course of the journey.
So stay tuned!
